I started sewing at nine years old and from the first gathered skirt, I was hooked. In my sewing career I've sewn custom wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, Hawaiian Hula outfits, and much more.  I love to work on interior design projects.

 

Over the years I discovered I have a passion to teach others the joy of sewing. I have been teaching for fifteen years and I love seeing the sense of accomplishment that students experience when they finish their creation!

 

I love to teach students not only sewing skills but also how to use their skills to help others. I involve my students in making quilt squares that I then use to complete handmade quilts to donate to local firehouses and other charity organizations.
